Over 2.6 million university students are currently taking courses
online. Both rapid growth of online education and the application of
Section 508 to these courses have prompted universities to assure
accessibility of courses to all students. Universal Design for
Learning (UDL) is a concept adapted from architecture and construction
that focuses on accessibility.

You're invited to join Melissa Darrow Engleman, EdD for a live,
90-minute interactive web seminar on Universal Design for Online
Courses. In her presentation, you'll discover how to make learning
more accessible to all learners through flexible methods of
presentation, expression and engagement. When you apply this concept
to online teaching, instructors will improve access for persons with
disabilities that occur most frequently in university populations.

How does a Magna web seminar work?
Web Seminars are a great way to offer affordable training to large
groups. And because of advancements in technology, viewing a web
seminar is easier than ever. They don't require any fancy equipment
just a computer, an internet connection, and speakers. Web seminars
duplicate the in-person experience by allowing viewers to see on one
screen the entire presentation, including video, audio and any
PowerPoint or other digital content. You can view it on a single
computer screen or project it on a large screen for a group
presentation. Keep in mind that you pay the $249 registration fee
only once per site, not per person. A site can be one person in a
private office or several individuals in a conference room. For more
