Topic: Tools and Strategies to Adapt to Changes in Support During
Overseas Study

An increasing number of students with disabilities are participating in
overseas programs, and while abroad, these students may encounter
changes in how disability is viewed and accommodated. This session
presents tools students can use to prepare for study abroad experiences,
and discuss strategies professionals can use for advising both students
going abroad and colleagues in the overseas study office. Audience: All
 
 
All audioconferences run for 90 minutes from 2:00 to 3:30 pm Central
Time and are preceded and followed by opportunities to contact the
instructors via Email. Additionally, each hosting site will facilitate a
discussion at the conclusion of each audio conference. To reserve your
seat, please notify the contact person listed at your nearest host
institution at least 5 working days in advance and please indicate any
special accommodations that you may need. Note: Complimentary web-based
real-time captioning is provided for all audioconference sessions.  When
you call, simply notify the host site to request this service, should
you require it.
