Hello all –

It is time once again to plan the joint GA-AHEAD/AMAC conference for disability service providers in the state -- and we are once again in a quandary as to how to design the conference to maximize participation and benefit the most people across the state.

So – please give us your feedback!!

If others on your staff are not on this listserv and don't get this message, please share this email and ask them to respond, as well. The form will also be available on the GA-AHEAD website (http://www.ga-ahead.org/) under "Meeting and Conference Information."

PLEASE RESPOND BY Wednesday, January 27 if you have not responded already.

Allie Cox at AMAC is assisting with compiling the responses. Please send your response to
alliecox at uga.edu
and copy me,
cpope at kennesaw.edu.

SPEAKERS

If you are aware of speakers who would be of interest to the group, please give us some information so we can contact them and make arrangements. If you have a new project/service/initiative on your campus and would like to report on that, please let us know that, as well. We would love to hear from some of you!!

CONFERENCE COORDINATION

Several of you have offered to assist with coordinating the conference, but my memory isn’t that great any more and I can’t remember who you are (that's Carol speaking, not Christopher)!! If you are willing to help with any aspect of coordinating the conference – arranging speakers, coordinating food, collecting registrations, technology support, etc. – please let us know. Many hands make light work!!

GA-AHEAD OFFICERS

It’s also time to put together a slate of officers for election at the conference. If you are willing to serve in any capacity, please indicate below. You can be an important part of keeping this organization vital and responsive to the needs of DSPs across the state.

__I would be willing to be a candidate for office with GA-AHEAD for 2010-11.

The best way to contact me is ____________________________________

Thank you all for taking the time to respond to this request!!

Carol Pope

GA-AHEAD president

and
Christopher Lee
Executive Director, AMAC
